The Nebelhorn: a mountain with unique views. The Nebelhornbahn starts right in the center of Oberstdorf and brings you to our starting places in every season. In summer you have the possibility to make beautiful walks from here. In winter, the versatile slopes and the longest downhill run in Germany (7.5 kilometers in length!) guarantee unforgettable skiing fun.

Iglu Lodge

The IglooLodge/Allgäu - Sleeping like the Eskimos at almost 2,000 meters ... Enjoy a unique night at the Snow Hotel on the Nebelhorn. Supposedly there are innumerable expressions of snow under Eskimos. For every kind and every shape, for soft snow, for new snow, for big snow and small, for "snow that lies on the ground" and "snow that whirls through the air." The IglooLodge knows only one kind: snow, who just makes you happy. And from this a whole hotel was built. The Igloo Lodge is a hotel, restaurant, bar and, last but not least: the probably most unusual event location north of the equator.

Zämed duss Outdoorfestival

"Being together together outside" is the motto from 3rd to 6th October 2019. Then everything revolves around the topic of nature and the movement in nature in Oberstdorf. Being together for 4 days. Experience nature together with friends - what could be better? The Zämed duss outdoor festival offers the perfect conditions for this: the impressive Oberstdorf mountains, a varied program and numerous partners from the various sports. Hikers, mountain bikers, climbers, water sports enthusiasts and yoga enthusiasts will find the right things to do. After an eventful day, everyone meets in the beer garden on the festival grounds for a cozy get-together. In addition to sporting activities, the Zämed duss outdoor festival also focuses on the respectful treatment of nature and other mountain lovers - whether they are on two legs, two wheels or in the water.

Naturbad Freibergsee

If you drive from Oberstdorf into the Stillachtal direction Fellhornbahn, so rises midway the imposing tower of Heini Klopfer ski jump from the forest. The hiker can find the most convenient access to one of the gems of the Allgäu mountains, the Freibergsee, via the chairlift on the hill. Embedded in the incomparable panorama of the Oberstdorf mountains, the natural bath offers a rich leisure offer. Hörnerbahn in Bolsterlang

With the well-ventilated panorama gondolas of the Hörnerbahn, you can comfortably float from 940m to 1540m. Below, the green Illertal from Sonthofen to Oberstdorf spreads. The higher you get, the more magnificent the view of the mighty rock range of the Allgäu and Lechtal mountains. At the mountain station (sun terrace with free deckchairs!) you will not expect steep and unapproachable rock massifs, but gently curved flower mountains whose species-rich flora is unique in the Allgäu Alps. The plants find ideal growth conditions on the humus-rich rock layers.
